Hive Alert: Receive Notifications from the Hive Blockchain
Hive Alert is a browser extension that allows users to receive notifications from the Hive blockchain directly to their browser. Developed by mcfarhat, this free extension is a companion to users' experience on the Hive blockchain.
With Hive Alert, users simply need to type in their account name to start receiving notifications related to their account. The extension covers a wide range of notifications, including core Hive transactions such as creating posts, comments, receiving upvotes, replies, reblogs, and mentions. Users will also be notified about core Hive financials, such as receiving rewards, receiving transfers, sending out transfers, and using the internal market.
In addition to core Hive notifications, Hive Alert also provides notifications related to companion Hive apps. Users will receive notifications about their Hive-engine experience, such as receiving or staking tokens. Notifications related to Actifit and other dapps on Hive are also included. Clicking on a notification will open the web experience via actifit.io.
While this is the first basic version of the extension, the developers have plans to introduce more customizations in upcoming versions. They welcome user feedback and suggestions for improvement.
